ENGLISH ESSAY WRITING

Essay writing promotes critical thinking whereby we can reflect on an issue and reach a conclusion. DPS-JC Junior Section held English Essay Writing Competition on 16th April 2022 wherein the children of classes IV & V participated enthusiastically. The motive of this competition was to stimulate the imagination of children & enable them to give a better shape to noteworthy write ups. This competition is enabled students to assess different arguments so that they can come up with stronger positions. Through critical thinking, students learn how to observe different perspectives and views. In competition competitors were judged on four key elements i.e., relevance to the theme, originality, insights and comprehensiveness. Our judges were astonished to see the writing capabilities of young talents of DPS-JC according to their age. Overall the response of the competition was positive and fruitful.
