AN INTER-SCHOOL PATRIOTIC SOLO-SINGING COMPETITION 02/10/2021
Music Binds our soul, hearts and emotions. Music is the best method of relaxation. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. In fact through singing children learn to express their feelings and ideas. To bring out the singing talent of the students an Inter School Solo Singing Competition was organized at Delhi Public School, Janjgir-Champa, the Lead Collaborator of Hub of Learning schools on 2 October 2021 to mark the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on virtual platform.
Students of different schools under the Hub of Learning participated enthusiastically on the theme patriotic songs. Each school prepared a Hindi Patriotic song on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti under the expert guidance of their music teachers. The children sang the songs with a lot of passion, confidence and patriotic feeling. The melodious songs pulled the heartstrings of the spectators. Each one showed their mastery over voice modulation, pitch, rhythm and tone. The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and self confidence as a true patriot of the Nation and made the whole atmosphere melodious. The judge of the competition was Shri Radha Krishna Gopalji a well-known eminent personality of music world. Mrs. Kalpana Singh, Principal of DPS-JC felicitated Radha Krishna Gopalji presenting shawl as a token of love & respect.
The budding singers put up the amazing contest with their melodious voice and mesmerized the chief guest of the day Shri Jitendra Kumar Shukla (IAS), District Collector & DM Janjgir-Champa, Principals, Coordinators, Parents & students present in the contest. The contestants were judged on their melody, rhythm, synchronization and general impression. Each one was congratulated & praised for their wonderful heart-winning performance.
