DOCTORS’ AND CAS’ DAY

Doctors’ and CAs’ Day was celebrated with much fanfare and gaiety in the premises of Delhi Public School Janjgir-Champa on 1st July, Saturday. Many distinguished Doctors and CA’s graced the occasion by their honourable presence. The prominent persons who came on this day were senior Surgeon and former Chief Medical Officer Dr. V.K. Agarwal, Mr. Rajesh Agrawal, President Lions Club Champa, Dr. Atul Rathore, Dr. Sanjana Saxena, Dr. Ajay Thawani, Dr. Sunil Gulabani and Shri Ravi Ji. The program began at 1 pm with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and garlanding of the statue of goddess Saraswati by honorable Principal, Mr. Ashish Pandey and these dignitaries. The program was anchored by Ms. Anita Prasad. The Principal of DPS-JC Mr. Ashish Pandey welcomed the guests by highlighting their contribution to the society in his speech. The audience were enthralled by a good song presented by Mr. Chandrashekhar Sahu the music teacher.After this a quiz was conducted by Mr. Samshad Khan, TGT English, in this students of class 11, science group actively participated and were answered by chief guest Dr. V. K. Agrawal, Dr. Ajay Thawani and others. Then there was a dance performance by Pawani Pitroda and Pratyaksha Singh, the students of class 8 B together with Payal Yadav, a student of class 10 A. Finally ‘A Vote of Thanks’ was given by HOD English, Mr K.K.Tewari. the program ended at a good note by singing the national anthem.
