DPS Lexical Scholars ( Senior)

To help raise awareness of the importance of languages and get students excited about language learning, An Inter-house DPS Lexical Scholar Competition was organised on 17th April 2021 where Senior Secondary School students (Classes IX-XII) participated head to head against other around, using their language skills to become DPS Lexical Scholars. They were well-prepared with the contents to be tested in the Competition like Parts of Speech, Tenses, Voice, Homophones, Figures of Speech, Vocabulary etc.Different rounds were conducted where participants of each team competed confidently and performed well. Highlight of the event was the presentation round where the meaning of commonly used English Proverbs were asked to Assess English Vocabulary and English Cultural Knowledge. The Competitors gave their best to come out successfully in the event.
