Earth Day Celebration
Earth Day is celebrated World Wide on April 22 Annually to raise public awareness about the environment and inspire people to save and protect it.
Like every year this year also, Earth Day was celebrated on 22nd April on Virtual Platform in DPS – JC to remind the students of their duties towards ‘Mother Nature’. As a part of environmental education, “Go-Green” initiative was taken to engage the whole school community in making a difference by Sapling Plants “Each One – Plant One”.
On the occasion of the Earth Day, an array of creative activities was organized with a view to sensitize the children about the conservation of natural resources and to motivate them to do their bit towards making their planet even more beautiful.
Activities like :-
Pre-Primary ( Pre-Nursery to Class I) Colouring,
Primary(Classes II to V) Drawing and Painting Competition,
Middle(Classes VI to VIII) Poetry Writing with theme ‘Mother Nature’,
Senior ( Classes IX to XII) Essay Writing in which topic was –
- Be an integral part of Earth Day celebration.
- Be a part of the revolution to support Mother Earth.
This day was marked not only by awareness but also enthusiasm on the part of the students.
