INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION
International Women’s Day is an occasion to celebrate the progress made towards achieving gender equality and women empowerment but also to critically reflect on those accomplishments.
Like every passing year International Women’s Day was just around the corner! Therefore Delhi Public School took the opportunity to celebrate the amazing women community by organizing a cultural show hosted by HR & Administrator Mr. Hardeep Singh & HOD Commerce Mr. Devesh Rawat at Delhi Public School Campus on 08th March 2022 with a sole motive where each one need to open their minds to different perspectives and celebrate each other’s achievements and can live in dignity and harmony.
On this special day Dr. Yasha Upendra was the Chief Guest, Smt. Meena Devi ji Dewangan, Patron, Delhi Public School, Janjgit-Champa was Guest of Honour, Dr. Dipti Agrawal, Assistant Medical Officer , Mrs. Padmshree Tanwar, SDOP Champa, Mrs. Sneha Dewangan, Mrs. Jyoti Dewangan Management Members, Mrs. Kalpana Singh, Principal, DPS-JC, Mrs. Indrani Sil, Headmistress, DPS-JC were invited as special guests. Mothers of all the students of Pre-Primary & Primary section were also invited on this day. Our school was completely decorated to grace the eve. It was a grand occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity .
The celebration began with welcoming of guest, Tilak smearing, Bouquet presentation & Lamp-lighting to invoke the blessings of the almighty.
Principal Mrs. Kalpana SIngh extended a warm & gracious welcome to all the dignitaries present with her beautiful welcome notes. As the show culminated, It left the audience enlightened and in awe. DPS school Teachers Miss Archana Chauhan, Miss Monalisha Prasad and Miss Shivi Dubey depicted the role of women through a blend of synchronized classical dance performance and the upbeat solo singing of Mr. Subhash Chandra Yadav enthralled the spectators present. It was indeed a truly Mesmerizing performance.
The Chief Guest Dr. Yasha Upendra was all praises for the show. She congratulated the School Team for conducting such inspiring shows. Dr. Dipti Agrawal, Assistant Medical Officer delivered a beneficial session on health wellness and fitness of all women invites to instill a ray of hope. Some exciting fun filled games too were arranged by Mr. Akhilesh Verma, Examination Dept. Head & Mr. Aadesh Prajapati, HOD Science to energize & entertain the beautiful female audience.
A fabulous ramp show was organized for Mother Parents and Female Teachers hosted by Miss Monalisha Prasad. The competition not only focussed on the innate beauty. Costume & personality but gave an opportunity to show case their real exuberant talent.
The event concluded with vote of thanks by Mr. Vinay Garhwal and Memento Presentation to the invited Dignitaries and Awarding Sashes & Crowns to Mrs. Best Personality, Mrs. Graceful, Mrs. Best Hair Style, Mrs. Best Costume & Mrs. Super Talent.
