MEETING OF SAHODAYA SCHOOLS COMPLEX

CBSE brought out a publication titled, “Freedom to learn and freedom to grow through Sahodaya School Complexes” (SSCs) which characterized “SSCs” as a voluntary association of schools in a given area, here through mutual choices, they agreed to come together for a systematic and system-wide renewal of the total educational process. In other word as “Sahodaya” signifies rising together, it identified six areas, to begin with, for collaboration amongst schools of its complex for educative management, Evaluation, Human Resource, Professional Growth of teachers, Value Oriented School Climate, Vocationalisation of education etc.

A meeting of Sahodaya Schools Complex had been held on 25 November, 2023 in our school. The Chief Guest was Shri K. Srinivasan, Regional Officer-CBSE, Bhubaneswar Region and Guest of Honour Dr. Akhilesh Kumar, Head of Center of Excellence- CBSE, Bhubaneswar Region along with Mrs. Kalpana Singh, President of JYOTIRMAYA CG CENTRAL SAHODAYA SCHOOLS COMPLEX and Principal of DPS-JC, Mr. Hemant Bhairam, Vice-President of JYOTIRMAYA CG CENTRAL SAHODAYA SCHOOLS COMPLEX and so all the members were present in the meeting.

The program was started with a flowery welcome of all the dignitaries which was followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. A warm welcome speech was given by the President of Jyotirmaya CG Central Sahodaya Schools Complex, Mrs. Kalpana Singh. Then the Resource Person of the day, Shir K. Srinivasan, Regional Officer-CBSE, Bhubaneswar Region, graced the occasion in this wonderful session. In the end of the programme the the President of Jyotirmaya CG Central Sahodaya Schools Complex, Mrs. Kalpana Singh presented a memento to the Chief Guest, Shir K.Srinivasan and Mr. Hemant Bhairam, Vice-President of Jyotirmaya CG Central Sahodaya Schools Complex gave the Guest of Honour trophy to Dr. Akhilesh Kumar as an expression of our gratitude and inexplicable bond he shared with us. The program was concluded with a ‘Vote of Thanks’ by Mr. Sumanto Biswas, Secretary Jyotirmaya CG Central Sahodaya Schools Complex, JC & Principal, Nuvoco Public School, Gopalnagar. More than 50 Principals from different schools of Dist Janjgir Champa, Korba, Raigarh and Bilaspur participated in the session.
