If I Never Fail How will I Ever Learn” – DR. C.V. RAMAN

Delhi Public School, Janjgir-Champa celebrated National Science Day to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman.

On this day, students were assembled in assembly ground.

All the members of science department decorated the stage beautifully with different scientific objects.

The Chief Guest of the ceremony was Mrs. Kalpana Singh, Principal of Delhi Public School, Janjgir-Champa, we welcomed her with floral bouquet and she along with Head Mistress Mrs. Indrani Sil lit lamp and gave Mr. Aadesh Prajapati, HOD Science Dept. delivered welcome speech on the life of Indian scientists their values, contribution and achievement.

The Head Mistress delivered welcome speech addressing the importance of science in our life. On this day a group song and group dance was presented by students.

A poster of Indian scientists were unveiled by the Chief Guest Mrs. Kalpana Singh. She also delivered speech. In her speech she recalled the contribution by Nobel laureate, physicist CV Raman. She also explained why science is necessary for the development of country and society. She also illustrated the importance of science in our daily life.

To conclude the ceremony Mrs. Om Priya Chaudhary proposed vote of thanks and she gave thank to all who have participated and contributed their efforts physically.
