TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION

Teacher’s day is commemorated on 5th of September every year on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was known as the amazing teacher of his time. The entire ceremony was organised and conducted by the students of class 12th with great enthusiasm in the honour of all their great teachers. The program was started at 10:00 a.m. with lamp lighting performed by the Principal, Mrs. Kalpana Singh, DPS JC. The Head Boy Om Rathore and the Head Girl Pallavi Dinkar hosted the event with the great joy and enthusiasm. All the teachers were involved in different games and fun activities, which truly made the program a memorable one. It would not have been completed in a good way without the gracious presence of our revered President, Mr. Raj Kishore Dewangan and the Principal, Mrs. Kalpana Singh, not shown their gracious presence. They gave their precious time in honouring the teachers, the nation builders and inspired the students to excel not only in academic field but also in extracurricular activities as well. The President, Mr. Raj Kishore Dewangan cited many inspiring instances which reflected the contribution of teachers in making true human beings and future citizens of the country. In this way the respected president sir ignited the minds of teachers to excel in imparting quality education. He also applauded the student for their effort in organising and conducting the event. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks. It was truly a successful event that took place at DPS-JC that leaves an impressive memory on the mind of the discernible students and their teachers.
