FOUNDER’S DAY CELEBRATION

Today, on June 15 2023, Delhi Public School, Janjgir Champa, celebrated its 13th founder day. The program began with great fanfare sharp at 12:15 p.m.  The anchoring of the program was done by Ms. Jyoti Mahant in English and Mrs. Snehil Chauhan in Hindi. The  program was begun with a welcoming note for the dignitaries by both the anchors. Among the dignitaries, the honourable President Mr. Raj Kishore Dewangan and respected Vice President Mr. Purushottam Devangan along with our esteemed  Principal sir Mr. Ashish Pandey graced the occasion. These dignitaries lighted the lamp before the picture frame of late founder sir Shri Ram Gopal Dewangan and paid their glowing tributes to him. On this occasion two guest trainers from Life Educare Mr. Ruben Dhanraj, Assistant Manager Academics, Life Educare and Head of Business Development and Operations, Life Educare, Mr. Venkatesh Iyer were also welcomed by the School management.

Then our music teacher Mr. Chandrashekhar Sahu

sang a devotional song. He was well accompanied by our dance teacher Mr. Subhash Yadav, playing a pair of drums in a mesmerising tune. This made the whole atmosphere musical. After this there was a welcome speech by PGT economics Mrs. Ritanjali ma’am and thus filling the whole ambience with devotion to almighty God.

Our principal sir delivered his speech highlighting the vision of our founder late Shri Ramgopal Devangan sir and stressed the importance of education in our life.

Then it was time for a devotional song again and it was sung by Mrs. Ritanjali ma’am. The song was quite soothing to the soul and everybody enjoyed it very much. Then our anchors Ms. Jyoti Mahant and Ms. Snehal Chauhan ma’am invited President sir to say a few words to the audience. Our President sir cited a few incidents from the life of our late founder Shri Ramgopal Dewangan sir and highlighted his vision regarding the education and the efforts taken by him to set up this institution.

Further teachers of DPS, Janjgir Champa presented a chorus after being invited by both the anchors, it was quite inspiring and talked about love and friendship among us. This chorus charged the whole atmosphere with great enthusiasm.

Finally Mr. Samshad sir was invited by the anchors to deliver a Vote of Thanks and thus the programme ended at a very good note.
