INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2023-24

13th Investiture Ceremony of Delhi Public School, Jangir Champa was conducted with great pomp and show in the August presence of honorable president Mr Raj Kishore Dewangan and respected principal Mr Ashish Pandey. The Program began  exactly at 9:30 a.m. on 18th of July, Tuesday when the president arrived he was welcomed by honorable principal sir and the newly elected prefectorial board boys standing at the strategic positions . The president was escorted to the vanue by the senior students doing march past. The program formally began by the lighting of ceremonial lamp by honorable president sir accompanied by respected principal sir. Both the dignitaries paid their floral tributes to the founder of DPS JC late  Ram Gopal dewangan sir and goddess Saraswati. Then there was a Welcome song  sung by the junior students under the guidance of Mr Chandrashekhar Sahu, the music teacher. The welcome speech was given by HOD English, Mr KK Tewari, who welcomed  all the dignitaries present there including the parents and the ex students of Delhi Public School Janjgir Champa who had cracked Neet, Jee and various other  competitive exams and thus bringing glory to their parents as well as their Alma mater.

Then house wise prefects, both boys and girls were called on the stage for their investiture ceremony. the president sir investitured them the badge of honour and handed them their house flags.  Those who were investitured are: from Aakash house master Nitesh Singh and miss Vanshika Pandey, master Chetan Singh and miss Sanskriti Singh from Agni house, master Harsh Kumar Jha and Kanak Sharma from Prithvi house and master Adveet Tiwari and miss Aastha Singh Rawat from Vayu house.

Sports secretary boy, master Aayush Pradhan and sports secretary girl, miss Payal Sahu,  cultural secretary miss Sakshi Sahu , along with head boy, master Ankitesh Kumar and head girl, MS Rashmi Bajrang, all from class 12 B were also investitured by president sir.

Then Principal sir presented his annual report for the session 2022-  23 on the various activities  of the school in the fields of academics and co curricular arena.

Parents of Ex  students along with these students were called on the stage and were felicitated by president sir by presenting them a shawl and sacred coconut. The ex students and their parents were honored for the extraordinary achievement of their wards. These students were felicitated for cracking jee-neet exam. These students are:

Milky Khunte, Mohammed Mahshad and  Dhruv Agrawal.

After this, president sir, Mr Raj Kishore Dewangan delivered his speech. He thanked the parents and the ex students for bringing laurels to the school and blessed them for their future.  Then, Mr Shamshad Khan,TGT English gave his vote of thanks. Finally, the program ended with the national anthem at 11 am.
