Night Camp 2024
Night Camp is Organised in DPS Campus:
Delhi Public School Janjgir-Champa organized a night camp for its primary and junior school children in the night of 13th January, Saturday. The program began at 7 PM and except for the dinner break continued throughout the night. It was a musical extravaganza and fun filled night where the children enjoyed themselves a lot and gave out their superb performance without any preparation. The performances were spontaneous presentation of our children’s talent and acting skills and show cased their dancing as well as singing acumen. Moreover the children spoke with confidence and it reflected through their body language. Students from classes IV to VIII took part in the night camp. Over all 106 students from these classes and four students from class 11 science viz. Bhavesh Ahir, Adveet Tiwari, Anshul Tiwari and Srijan Devangan participated in the night camp. These four students formed a musical band and performed on the stage. The audience were left spell bound by their singing skills as well as skills of playing various musical instruments with ease. Mr Chandrashekhar Sahu, the music teacher and Subhash Yadav, the dance teacher also entertained the audience by their heart touching and emotional songs. Then the Principal of DPS Mrs Kalpana Singh addressed the audience and motivated the children for their excellent performances and wished them all the best for their remaining performances of the night. The lady teachers who performed their night duty along with the children were Ms Archana Sahu, Ms Priyanka Jaiswal and Ms Sumita Das while the gents teachers who did their night duty with the children were Mr Lokesh Gaba, Mr Shamshad Khan, Mr Anshul Tiwari and Mr Aman Singh. In the midnight a bonfire was also lit around which all the children gathered along with the principal of Delhi Public School Janjgir- Champa Mrs Kalpana Singh and thus every one enjoyed the warmth of the bonfire. In the morning, all the children after having their breakfast went back to their home cherishing the memories of the night camp in their mind.
